I filled out an application online about a Heat Pump from Harry’s Home Comfort in Ottawa.
The next day I received a phone call from Tristan. He was very knowledgeable and kind. He answered all my questions professionally, and it made me feel comfortable with my decision to purchase the Heat Pump. Tristan stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process and contacted me several times after the install.
The techs arrived on the scheduled day and time. They installed the AC/Heat Pump and Ecobee thermostat in a timely manner. They were professional and polite, and they cleaned up very well after the installation was complete.

I don’t normally write long reviews like this, but this needs to be said:
I came across an ad online about heat pump savings because my old A/C was on its last legs, so I filled out the form and was contacted by Tristan from Harry’s Home Comfort. From the first phone call, he took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. We went over how a heat pump works, the potential savings compared to using more gas, the rebates, and the financing options. I had quite a few questions, but he never rushed me and was happy to answer all of them.
After discussing my home and what made the most sense, I decided to replace my old A/C with a heat pump and upgrade my aging water heater to a tankless since it’s just me living in the house. I also asked about replacing my furnace, but Tristan looked at its age and told me it was only about five years old and didn’t need to be replaced. He explained that it would work perfectly as the backup heat source with the new heat pump.
That honesty is what made me choose Harry’s over the other companies I spoke with. A couple of the other quotes included replacing my furnace as well, but Harry’s recommended only what I actually needed instead of trying to sell me more equipment.
Once everything was approved, the installation was scheduled within a few days. The installers arrived on time, were professional, and did a really clean job. They took the time to walk me through the new system, helped me connect the smart thermostat to my phone, and left the work area spotless.

We had a great experience with Harry's Home Comfort. They initially came to install the outdoor compressor and completed the electrical wiring. When it was time to install the two indoor units, we realized that there was no power available in the basement yet, so I had to ask them to pause the work.
It actually took about six months before the power situation was resolved and we were ready to continue. During that entire time, the team was incredibly patient and professional. They never asked for payment or pressured us in any way. Instead, they simply followed up from time to time to check if the power had been installed and when they could come back to finish the job.
Once everything was ready, they returned and completed the installation smoothly. I truly admired their professionalism, patience, and customer-focused attitude. It’s not often you see a company willing to wait that long and still provide excellent service.
